After a decade-long transformation the Midland Grand hotel, the Victorian palace attached to St Pancras station, was returned it to its original luxury in 2011.
It is nearly a century since The Midland Grand Hotel last flourished, and 76 years since it was a hotel at all. Bulmer supplied all the new arch bricks for this devoted restoration incorporating sixty five gothic, circular and semicircular arches in traditional Red Rubbers and fine lime putty joints, matching the design, proportions and style of the 150-year-old Gilbert Scott original. The arches were set out & hand cut at Brick Cutters' workshops.
